Zadar National Museum launches cultural call for City Day

In Zadar, Croatia, the Pedagogical-Andragogical Department of the National Museum Zadar has launched a call for citizens to share stories about their favorite locations in the city to celebrate Zadar City Day. Participants of all ages are invited to submit drawings, photographs, or literary works that depict a place of personal significance, accompanied by a brief explanation of the memories or feelings associated with it.

Submissions are accepted via email or mail, with a deadline of November 10. The selected works will be showcased in an exhibition at the Prince's Palace on November 20.

Separately, there is a growing trend toward using digital memorials to preserve the memories of deceased loved ones. Unlike traditional paper obituaries, digital memorials serve as online spaces where biographical information, photographs, and messages from family and friends can be centrally organized, allowing for easier sharing with relatives living in different locations.
