Regional cultural festivals launch across Central and Eastern Europe

Various regional cultural, musical, and culinary festivals are taking place across Central and Eastern Europe.

In Croatia, the Zadar Organ Festival engaged 76 participants in creative workshops, while the Mosor radio amateur camp provided technical training for youth. Film workshops are also being held in Rijeka, Zagreb, and Velika Gorica.

In Serbia, the 21st Bunjevačka Culture Days in Bajmok will feature a documentary on Bishop Ivan Antunović and a traditional food festival. Additionally, the 60th Niš Film Meetings are being organized by local actors to preserve professional traditions. Kikinda will host its 41st ‘Dani ludaje’ festival in September, featuring music and local crafts.

Romania is hosting several events, including the Neapolitan Pizza Festival in Oradea, the opening of the Baia Mare Municipal Theater season, and the ‘Summer Time – Enescu and the City’ program at the Cantacuzino Palace. In Cernat, the ‘Meeting of Millers’ will celebrate traditional milling and culinary heritage.

In Hungary, the Győr National Theater has launched its new season, and the Budapest Wine Festival returns with a diverse program of music and international cuisine. In Slovenia, the Trzin Festival will offer family days, theater, and music through early September.
