Zagreb completes 90 percent of summer infrastructure works

Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomašević announced that 90 percent of the city's summer infrastructure works have been completed ahead of the new school year. The projects include the renovation of dozens of roads, hundreds of kilometers of new streets, tram tracks, and pipelines.

Key completed projects include the reconstruction of the tram track in Kralja Zvonimira Street, specifically the section from Trg žrtava fašizma to Heinzelova Street, which involved replacing 1,848 meters of track and a switch at the intersection with Pavla Šubića Street. Tram traffic is scheduled to resume on this section starting Monday. Additionally, the upper part of the overpass in Ljudevita Posavskog Street in Sesvete has been repaired and reopened to traffic. Other significant works include the first phase of Većeslav Holjac Avenue and Zagrebačka cesta.
