Zagreb County Red Cross blood drives and Elektro Maribor donation support vulnerable groups

The City Red Cross of Zagreb County organised a series of voluntary blood‑donation actions across multiple locations from 3 August to 31 August. Events were held in Samobor, Velika Gorica, Vrbovec, Sveti Ivan Zelina, Dugo Selo and other towns, aiming to secure sufficient blood supplies for the health system. Eligible donors aged 18‑65 and weighing over 55 kg could give blood at scheduled times throughout the month.

Elektro Maribor marked its 15th year of charitable contributions by donating funds to the Regional Red Cross of Ljutomer and the local Karitas organisation in Slovenia. The donation will be used to assist vulnerable families, children and the elderly with utility bills, school supplies, medical costs and other essential needs, reflecting the company’s corporate‑social‑responsibility policy.
