Elektro Maribor humanitarian aid initiatives

In late July 2026, Elektro Maribor marked its 15th anniversary of charitable contributions by donating funds to the Regional Red Cross of Ljutomer and the local Karitas organisation in Slovenia. The money was earmarked for vulnerable families, children and the elderly, covering utility bills, school supplies and medical costs.

A few days later, in early August, the company expanded its support, providing donations to three Maribor‑based humanitarian groups – Nadškofijska Karitas Maribor, the Red Cross Slovenia Maribor branch, and the Youth Friends Association Maribor. These funds were directed toward programmes for children, teenagers and vulnerable groups, including replacing mattresses and pillows in a care home and expanding a mental‑health volunteer initiative.

Concurrently, local donors in Kamnik raised €60,000 to install a modern elevator for Indira Radič, a girl with a mobility impairment, enhancing her daily independence. The elevator was handed over by the mayor and building manager, illustrating community‑level fundraising complementing the corporate donations.
