Zagreb revamps tram and bus routes for summer works
From 11 July 2026, Zagreb’s public‑transport operator ZET introduced a series of temporary changes to accommodate summer construction works. Tram line 5 (Prečko – Park Maksimir) runs only to Kvaternikov trg, while tram line 7 (Savski most – Dubrava) is rerouted through New Zagreb, the bus station, Branimirova, Draškovićeva, Vlaška and Kvaternikov trg starting 14 July.
Bus services are also affected. Lines 102 (Britanski trg – Mihaljevac), 103 (Britanski trg – Kraljevec) and 105 (Kaptol – Britanski trg) operate shortened routes while works on the gas‑pipeline reconstruction at Britanski trg continue through the weekend. Line 133 (Savski most – Sveta Klara – Čehi) follows a detour via Remetinečka, Dr Luje Naletilića and Sisačka streets, with several stops temporarily closed. An extraordinary bus line 602 (Trg žrtava fašizma – Borongaj) receives a new timetable from 13 July, and line 236 is suspended from 24 July to 17 August. The summer timetable is adjusted on multiple lines, and several bus stops (Lukoranska, Franje Malnara, Čavoglavska, Mrkšina and Mrkšina 65 – crkva) are not used during the works. Passengers are advised to check the latest schedules before travelling.
