Zagreb sees opening of new sandwich bar and tapas restaurant

Zagreb's culinary scene has seen the opening of two distinct new dining establishments.

Chefs Bogdan Mate Janković, Marko Palfi, and Matija Bogdan have launched TriM!, a sandwich bar focused on homemade products. The concept emphasizes scratch-made ingredients, such as beef and Slavonian pork, explicitly avoiding processed deli meats. The name TriM! is derived from the chefs' initials and the culinary term for meat trimmings.

In the Trešnjevka neighborhood, students Dražen Martić and Tomislav Marenić have opened Mojo Rojo, a tapas bar located in the former space of the cult restaurant Blato. The venue offers a Spanish-inspired atmosphere with small portions designed for sharing, providing an alternative to traditional lunch options.
