Zagreb Stock Exchange sees increased trading activity and turnover

The Zagreb Stock Exchange has seen a recent increase in trading activity and turnover. During the final week of August, stock turnover rose by 13.3 percent, while money market instrument trading saw a significant surge of 957.6 percent.

Key indices remained relatively stable, with the CROBEX and CROBEXtr indices recording slight growth of 0.15 percent. The CROBEX10 and CROBEX10tr indices grew by 0.5 percent. The food industry sector, represented by the CROBEXnutris index, saw a notable increase of over 2 percent.

Končar remains a primary focus for investors, maintaining high liquidity and significant turnover. Other highly traded companies include Valamar Riviera, HT, Adris Grupa, and Luka Rijeka. Notably, Luka Rijeka experienced a sharp price increase of 11.8 percent in a single session, while other stocks like Podravka and Maistra also saw price gains.
