Zaheerabad jewelry shop robbed of gold worth Rs 10 lakh

A group of women, reportedly wearing burqas, stole gold ornaments from the Jai Bhavani Jewellery Store in Zaheerabad, Sangareddy district, on Sunday, August 16.

According to reports, the suspects entered the shop and used a distraction tactic. While one woman engaged staff members by asking to see items such as nose pins, the others allegedly stole a 70-gram gold chain and other ornaments valued at approximately Rs 10 lakh. The theft was discovered after the shop owner and staff noticed the missing items.

CCTV footage of the incident has circulated on social media, showing the suspects interacting with employees before fleeing. The Zaheerabad Town Police have registered a case under Section 303 of the BNS and have initiated an investigation to identify and apprehend the suspects.
