Zalău County Museum launches

The Zalău County Museum of History and Art, in partnership with the Zalău City Hall, is launching an educational program titled "Discover Zalău on Foot!" (Descoperă Zalăul la pas!). The initiative is part of the 2026 Zalău Municipality Days celebrations.

The program features a participatory route located at various bus stations throughout the municipality. Information panels have been installed at these stops to present the history, heritage, personalities, and evolution of Zalău. Each panel provides directions to the next point in the route.

To participate, individuals must complete at least one proposed route, take a selfie at each discovered panel, and present themselves at the museum's secretariat by August 27, 2026. Participants will be entered into a raffle on August 29, 2026, for a chance to win promotional materials. The program is free and open to everyone.
