Zamfara State partners with XEJet for Abuja-Gusau flights
The Zamfara State Government has entered into an Air Route Development Partnership Agreement with XEJet Limited to launch scheduled commercial flights between Gusau International Airport and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
Under the agreement, XEJet is scheduled to operate bi-weekly flights starting in October. The initiative aims to improve the state’s connectivity, facilitating the movement of people and goods to support tourism, business activity, and economic growth.
Deputy Governor Mani Mummuni noted that the Gusau International Airport was constructed from scratch and completed within two years to serve as a hub for economic ambitions. The state government intends for the improved air access to attract international investors and donor agencies to the region.
