Michoacán infrastructure and security projects expanded by Governor Bedolla

Michoacán Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla has announced several major infrastructure and security initiatives across the state. In Morelia, the government inaugurated the Independencia railway underpass, an 376 million peso project featuring eight lanes and new recreational spaces including a skate park and playground to improve southern city mobility.

In the La Piedad region, authorities are developing a strategic logistics corridor connecting Lázaro Cárdenas to La Piedad. This project aims to reduce travel times from six hours to three and a half hours through highway expansions and new bypasses. Additionally, security in La Piedad has been bolstered with the inauguration of a new Civil Guard headquarters capable of housing 217 officers and the delivery of new patrol units.

In Zamora, construction is underway for the La Rinconada road distributor, a 270 million peso project expected to be completed by mid-2027 to facilitate the transport of regional berry products. The state administration continues to implement various strategic projects as part of a broader investment plan in the region.
