Zapopan arrest targets drug trafficking operator 'Canguro
Mexican authorities, including the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR), the Attorney General's Office (FGR), and the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), arrested Ángel “N”, known as “Canguro”, in Zapopan, Jalisco.
Following intelligence sharing between Mexican and United States agencies, the suspect was identified as a logistical operator for a criminal organization. He is allegedly responsible for coordinating the distribution and sale of synthetic drugs in Seattle and Tacoma, Washington.
During the coordinated operation in Zapopan, officials seized a firearm, ammunition, and several doses of suspected drugs. The suspect has been placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry to determine his legal status.
