Zaragoza launches 95 new affordable homes in Torrero block and Vadorrey protected‑housing phase
The Zaragoza City Council completed a participatory process to determine the community facilities for a new 32‑unit affordable‑rental block in the Torrero neighbourhood. Experts from the University of Zaragoza and local associations helped define five pillars for the ground‑floor spaces, including intergenerational use, flexible rooms and energy‑saving features, with a construction budget of €5.5 million.
In the same city, developer Libra GP delivered the first phase of the Terrazas de Vadorrey project, adding 63 protected‑sale apartments to a total of 242 planned. The units, priced from €163,800 plus VAT, feature high energy efficiency, solar panels, and shared amenities such as a pool and gym. The delivery brings Libra GP’s total of protected homes in Zaragoza to 349, offering an affordable purchase option for young families amid rising rents.
