Zarea Hotel to be auctioned for 106 million lei

The Public Property Agency (APP) has announced the privatization of the Zarea Hotel complex in central Chisinau through an auction scheduled for October 20. The starting price for the property is set at 106 million lei, with a required participation deposit of 10.6 million lei.

The complex, located on Anton Pann Street, includes a 12-story building covering 6,123.7 square meters, accommodation spaces, a conference hall, a cafe, and an adjacent 0.3111-hectare plot of land. The APP aims to attract investment to modernize the asset and contribute to the capital's economy.

The deadline for investors to submit participation requests has been extended to October 19. Under the privatization terms, the civil protection shelter and access to the transformer station must be maintained and are not included in the sale. Any changes to the building's purpose or structural interventions will require appropriate urban and technical permits.
