Zbigniew Bogucki condemns Grzegorz Braun’s Holocaust remarks
Zbigniew Bogucki, Chief of the President's Chancellery, has strongly condemned statements made by Grzegorz Braun regarding the Holocaust, describing them as “unacceptable, scandalous,” and “anti-Polish.” The criticism follows Braun’s previous claims questioning the historical reality of gas chambers at Auschwitz, which led to investigations by the Institute of National Remembrance and a request from the Prosecutor General to strip the MEP of his immunity.
During a radio interview, Bogucki also addressed political discussions regarding a potential right-wing pact for the Sejm and Senate under the patronage of Karol Nawrocki. He noted that unity among right-wing voters could lead to significant electoral success in the Senate. Bogucki suggested that any decisions regarding political alliances, including the potential involvement of Braun, should be viewed through the lens of right-wing voters rather than just party leaders.
