Zbiornica Skórzec restricts operations following regulatory errors

Zbiornica Skórzec, a key facility for the disposal of animal byproducts, has faced operational restrictions following over 90 complaints from the local community. The facility's President, Marcin Cabaj, admitted to a decision-making error where a new technological line for thermal-pressure processing was launched before finalizing the necessary legal documentation regarding the change of building use.

These regulatory issues and the lack of an integrated permit have led to a paralysis of the plant's usual activities. While the Chief Veterinary Inspectorate maintains that the overall system for animal waste disposal remains functional, the situation at Zbiornica Skórzec highlights potential vulnerabilities in the logistics and biosecurity standards of local livestock farms.
