Zealand Pharma announces share buy-back transactions worth up to DKK 1.3 billion

Zealand Pharma A/S reported that it executed share repurchases under its buy‑back programme during week 21 (18‑22 May 2026). The company bought back 220,000 shares at an average price of DKK 68,441 per share, amounting to a total transaction value of DKK 134.8 million. Cumulatively, 416,000 shares have been repurchased, representing about 1.80 % of the company's share capital, with the programme authorising purchases of up to DKK 1.3 billion and 7.15 million shares by 31 Oct 2026. Danske Bank acts as lead manager and will make trading decisions independently of the company. The programme is carried out under EU Market Abuse Regulation and the Safe Harbour Regulation.

The buy‑back is intended to optimise capital structure and return value to shareholders, with the company maintaining a treasury holding of 1,286,482 shares after the latest transactions.
