Zebra Technologies launches TC201 mobile data capture device for fulfillment services

Zebra Technologies introduced the TC201, a new generation mobile data‑capture terminal aimed at fulfillment centres. It uses Qualcomm’s Dragonwing Q‑6690 processor, delivering more than a 150 % performance increase over the prior TC2x series, which speeds up application start‑up and enables simultaneous task handling.

The device adds an AC670 Advanced Range scanner capable of reading barcodes from up to 30 metres, allowing workers to capture items on pallets or high shelves without extra steps. Improved barcode‑recognition under difficult lighting and faster data processing help reduce walking distances, accelerate order picking, packing and returns, and support heightened activity during seasonal peaks.
