Zeekr 7GT electric sedan debuts in German market

Zeekr, the Chinese brand owned by Geely and sister to Volvo and Polestar, is launching its 7GT electric sedan in Germany in July. The model, aimed at business customers, starts at about €47,990 and measures 4.82 m in length. It combines a sleek shooting‑brake design developed in Gothenburg with manufacturing in Hangzhou. The 7GT offers fast charging, a large touchscreen cockpit, electric doors and minimal physical controls. Power output is 310 kW (421 hp) for the rear‑wheel version and 475 kW (646 hp) for the all‑wheel variant, with a top speed of 210 km/h. Reviewers note its precise steering, adaptive air‑suspension and a spacious interior with a 456‑litre rear trunk and up to 65 litre front trunk. Compared with rivals such as the Audi A6 e‑tron, VW ID.7, Nio ET5 and Denza Z9GT, the Zeekr 7GT is positioned as a higher‑performance, faster‑charging alternative for the German premium compact‑suv segment.
