Geely has restructured the leadership of its electric‑vehicle brand Zeekr, with founder Li Shufu stepping down as chairman and Gan Jiayue taking the top executive role. The change is aimed at streamlining group management and accelerating product development as Zeekr expands into new markets, including a joint‑venture production launch in Brazil.

In Spain, Zeekr began commercial operations with four premium electric models – the 001, X, 7X and the upcoming 7GT – priced from €37,100 to €73,267. The brand, supported by distributor Salvador Caetano Autocomo, opened seven sales points and plans to reach 16 locations across the country by year‑end, targeting 600 units sold in the second half of the year and up to 3,500 deliveries by 2028.
