Zeekr expands 7X electric SUV availability in South Korea and Singapore
Zeekr, the electric vehicle brand from Geely Holding Group, is expanding the market presence of its 7X mid-size electric SUV. In South Korea, the brand is targeting consumers with a focus on ‘tech luxury,’ emphasizing advanced technology and premium features to differentiate itself from other Chinese brands.
The 7X is built on Geely’s SEA platform and features a design philosophy termed ‘Hidden Energy,’ characterized by minimalist surfaces and advanced lighting, such as the 1,831-LED ‘Stargate Light’ system. While the vehicle offers high performance—with top-tier trims delivering up to 645 horsepower and dual-motor AWD—and significant interior space due to a 2,900mm wheelbase, some reviews note that ride quality and regenerative braking tuning require further refinement.
In Singapore, Zeekr has launched an updated lineup for the 7X, introducing three distinct variants: RWD Standard, RWD Long Range, and AWD Performance. The new RWD Standard model is specifically configured for Category A Certificate of Entitlement (COE) requirements. All variants utilize an 800V electrical architecture to support fast charging. The AWD Performance variant is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds.
