Zelensky seeks Starlink permission for long-range strikes in Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he requested permission from the United States and SpaceX to use the Starlink satellite system for long-range attacks within Russian territory. While Zelensky indicated that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk had reportedly given preliminary approval, the final decision rests with political leadership.

According to Zelensky, despite efforts to convince U.S. President Donald Trump that such access would accelerate the end of the conflict, approval has not been granted. Reports suggest that Trump has expressed opposition to the move, with SpaceX allegedly denying permission to avoid the risk of military escalation.
