Zelensky urges faster Patriot deliveries and diplomatic reshuffle amid Russian attacks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a review of Kyiv’s diplomatic strategy to accelerate the arrival of Patriot air‑defence systems and the implementation of foreign military‑aid packages. He stressed that agreements made at the leader level must be fulfilled “much more quickly and in full,” calling for expedited licenses for Patriot production and enhanced European anti‑missile capabilities. Zelensky also pointed to delays in delivering announced aid, noting that “the aid packages for Ukraine have not yet been delivered in full” and that any postponement jeopardises civilian lives.

In the same address, Zelensky highlighted recent Russian strikes that night‑time involved 121 drones and 12 missiles, including six ballistic missiles that caused injuries and damage in Kyiv, Sumy and Odesa. He urged allies, especially the United States and European partners, to speed up support and improve diplomatic coordination. The president also mentioned upcoming changes in Ukraine’s diplomatic corps and a possible reshuffle of the prime‑ministerial post to better manage foreign relations, emphasizing the importance of cooperation with Poland and the shared goal of countering Russian aggression.

Zelensky linked the call for stronger defence to commemorations of World‑War‑II events shared with Poland, urging historical remembrance to strengthen future cooperation across Ukraine, Poland and the broader European region.
