Zenica-Doboj Canton proposes 777.7 million KM budget

The Zenica-Doboj Canton Government has proposed amendments to its 2026 budget, increasing planned revenues to approximately 777.7 million KM. The revised budget includes a planned surplus of 5.6 million KM.

Key measures include the adoption of a scientific research development strategy for the 2024–2034 period. Additionally, the government has allocated nearly 7 million KM to support the economy, with 6.2 million KM designated for private enterprises and small to medium-sized businesses, and 700,000 KM for entrepreneurial zones.

Prime Minister Nezir Pivić stated that these incentives aim to maintain the canton's leadership in industrial and economic production, noting that increased tax revenues indicate positive results from current economic policies.
