Zenica tax inspectors seal six businesses for labor and fiscal violations

Inspectors from the Tax Administration of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Cantonal Tax Office Zenica carried out 24 inspections on 5 August 2026 in Zenica and surrounding municipalities (Olovo, Doboj Jug, Vareš, Zavidovići, Kaknj, Tešanj, Usora, Visoko). The checks verified compliance with tax, fiscal and registration legislation.

The inspections uncovered 35 registered workers, eight unregistered workers, two establishments operating without a required permit, two without a fiscal device, and 11 entities that failed to record sales. In response, six premises were sealed and 16 penalty orders were issued, imposing total fines of 31,700 KM. The tax office announced that it will continue regular inspections in the area.
