Zero Motorcycles and Honda announce new electric vehicle developments

Zero Motorcycles is celebrating its 20th anniversary by introducing a limited edition of the Zero SR/F. The 20th Anniversary edition features a Jet Black color scheme with gold accents and premium components. Production is limited to 20 units in North America and 20 units for selected European dealers.

Additionally, Zero announced new color options for its Street and Dual Sports lines, scheduled for release in 2027. The company also noted that improved production processes will allow for more competitive pricing on selected models to increase accessibility to electric motorcycling.

In related mobility news, Honda has unveiled a prototype for an electric mountain bike (e-MTB) at Sea Otter Europe. Developed in collaboration with German manufacturer Rotwild, the project aims to bring a motor-like feel to cycling. While specific technical details regarding battery capacity and weight remain undisclosed, Honda intends to release a commercial production model in 2027.
