Zero Waste Foundation and DEİK sign sustainability protocol

The Zero Waste Foundation and the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK) have signed a cooperation protocol aimed at promoting zero waste and circular economy approaches within the Turkish private sector. The partnership seeks to strengthen sustainability practices and export Turkey’s expertise in these fields to the international business community.

During the signing ceremony, Zero Waste Foundation President Samed Ağırbaş highlighted the global vision of the Zero Waste Movement, which was founded by Honorary President Emine Erdoğan. Ağırbaş noted that the movement has evolved from simple waste management into a comprehensive transformation model focusing on resource conservation, efficiency, and sustainable development.

The agreement will facilitate joint efforts through DEİK member organizations and business councils to implement these environmental strategies across various industries.
