Zero Waste Foundation sustainability initiatives in Turkey

Overview

The Zero Waste Foundation has entered into several strategic cooperation protocols to promote circular economy and resource efficiency models in Turkey.

Initially, the foundation signed an agreement with Turkish Airlines to enhance environmental sustainability in the aviation sector. This partnership focuses on managing cabin and passenger waste, reducing carbon footprints, and promoting Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) to support Turkey’s net-zero targets.

Subsequently, the foundation expanded its reach by signing a protocol with the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK). This collaboration aims to implement zero waste and circular economy approaches across the Turkish private sector and export these environmental expertise models to the international business community.
