Zesco Ndola Girls advance to COSAFA semi-finals

Zesco Ndola Girls have secured the top spot in Group A of the CAF Women’s Champions League COSAFA Qualifiers following a 2-0 victory over Gaborone United. Goals from Charity Mubanga and Avell Chitundu maintained the Zambian champions' perfect record, allowing them to advance to the semi-finals while avoiding a matchup against Mamelodi Sundowns.

In the semi-finals, Zesco Ndola Girls are set to face Malawi's Silver Strikers. Silver Strikers, who finished as runners-up in Group B, have made history as the first Malawian team to reach the semi-final stage of these qualifiers. Silver Strikers coach Patricio Kulemeka expressed confidence in his squad's ability to reach the final despite the statistical advantage held by the Zambian side.

The matches are being held at the Gaborone United Stadium in Botswana.
