Zevenbergen stable fire kills five bulls

A major fire broke out at a stable on Huizersdijk in Zevenbergen on Thursday afternoon, resulting in the death of five bulls. The intense flames caused part of the stable's roof to collapse, and emergency services ultimately allowed the building to burn out in a controlled manner.

An NL-alert was issued to local residents due to heavy smoke caused by the blaze, which was spreading toward the center of Zevenbergen due to strong winds. The Safety Region Midden- and West-Brabant advised citizens to stay away from the scene, keep windows and doors closed, and turn off ventilation systems. No human injuries were reported in the incident, which was managed under a GRIP 1 coordination level.
