ZEvent 2026 raises record 33 million euros for charity

The tenth and final edition of the ZEvent charity marathon, held in Montpellier, has raised a record-breaking 32,891,874 euros for 22 different associations. This total nearly doubles the amount raised during the 2025 edition and represents more than half of the total funds collected across all ten years of the event.

The marathon featured over 80 streamers on-site and 200 participating remotely, recording more than 1.7 million individual donations. Notable contributors included Mastu, who raised over 5 million euros alone, as well as Bigflo et Oli and Gims.

Despite the financial success, the event has faced criticism regarding the conduct of certain creators and the methods used to solicit donations. Some observers have described the outcome as having a ‘bittersweet taste’ due to controversies surrounding specific participants and the nature of certain fundraising sequences.
