ZEvent charity marathon raises record 32.8 million euros
The tenth and final edition of ZEvent, a massive French charity streaming marathon, concluded in Montpellier with a record-breaking total of 32,891,874 euros raised. This amount nearly doubles the previous record set in 2025.
Over a 50-hour live broadcast, more than 330 content creators participated, with approximately 80 streamers gathered at the Corum convention center in Montpellier and others joining remotely. The event attracted massive viewership, peaking at nearly 1.4 million simultaneous viewers. The funds, managed by the Fondation de France, will be distributed among 22 non-profit organizations, including Amnesty International, Médecins Sans Frontières, and the Red Cross.
Co-founders Adrien Nougaret (ZeratoR) and Alexandre Dachary expressed profound emotion at the event's conclusion. While the marathon has ended, organizers stated they intend to continue supporting future solidarity initiatives. The fundraising effort saw over 1.7 million individual donations, with an average contribution of approximately 8.58 to 10 euros.
