Zgorzelec District Labor Office announces business startup grants

The District Labor Office in Zgorzelec has announced a call for applications for funding to start new business activities. Interested individuals registered with the office may submit applications starting September 21, 2026, until funds are exhausted.

The support is financed through the European Social Fund Plus under the European Funds for Lower Silesia 2021-2027 program, specifically the project ‘Supporting Unemployed Persons in Zgorzelec County II’. Additional funding is provided via a professional activation program for unemployed residents in rural areas, including farmers, from the Labor Fund reserve managed by the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy.

Due to high interest, the office is requesting changes to the financial plan for the Lower Silesia project. Agreements for support will be signed once the procedure is completed and the changes are approved. Evaluation will consider formal criteria alongside completeness, correctness, and professional qualifications or experience.
