Polish regional labor office business grant initiatives

Overview

District Labor Offices in Kędzierzyn-Koźle and Zgorzelec have announced various initiatives to support unemployed individuals through professional activation and business startup grants.

In Kędzierzyn-Koźle, the District Labor Office is implementing a project under the ‘European Funds for the Opole Region 2021-2027’ program. This initiative aims to provide funding for 32 people to start businesses and support 20 unemployed individuals through professional activation. The program targets specific groups, including women, people with disabilities, and those aged 18–29 or 50 and older.

In Zgorzelec, the District Labor Office is offering funding for new business activities through the ‘Supporting Unemployed Persons in Zgorzelec County II’ project, financed by the European Social Fund Plus. This effort also includes a professional activation program for rural residents and farmers, supported by the Labor Fund reserve. Due to high interest in the Zgorzelec program, the office has requested changes to the financial plan for the Lower Silesia project.
