Zheng Chao-fang proposes expanding Zhubei school bus model to Hsinchu County

Zheng Chao-fang, the current Mayor of Zhubei and a candidate for Hsinchu County Magistrate, has proposed expanding the successful ‘Golden School Bus Line’ model to the entire county. The existing Zhubei program, which connects students across different districts, has seen high engagement with peak occupancy rates reaching 98%.

Zheng plans to implement a county-wide ‘Golden Commuter and School Bus Line’ by analyzing residential hotspots, school locations, and major transit hubs such as high-speed rail and train stations. The initiative aims to reduce traffic congestion and improve safety for students while easing the commuting burden for parents and workers across Hsinchu County's 13 townships.
