Zigana Tunnel Traffic Accident Injures Four in Turkey

A traffic collision occurred inside the Zigana Tunnel on the Trabzon‑Gümüşhane highway when a car struck a truck positioned ahead of it. The impact caused injuries to four occupants of the car, who were treated on‑scene and then transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

Emergency services and police secured the tunnel, imposed temporary traffic controls and later restored normal flow after clearing the vehicles. Authorities have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
