ZIIB integrates Wero into Pay with ME for 11,000 POS terminals

Berlin-based ZIIB has integrated the European payment solution Wero into its ‘Pay with ME’ platform. This rollout makes Wero available at more than 11,000 points of sale (POS) across Germany and Austria.

This implementation marks the first productive use of Wero in stationary retail, specifically targeting snack, coffee, and beverage vending machines, farm shops, sales outlets, and self-service car washes. ZIIB collaborated with Syngenio to handle the technical communication required for the integration.

Future plans include expanding Wero through ‘Pay with ME’ to parking systems, canteens, retail cash register systems, and gastronomy service applications. ZIIB also intends to launch sales in Belgium and France by 2026.
