Public safety incidents reported in Czechia and Italy

In Brno, a doctor at a children's hospital successfully performed resuscitation on a preschool girl who had been drowning at a local swimming pool. In Česká Lípa, emergency services and a helicopter responded to a tragedy where a four-year-old girl fell from a seventh-floor balcony of a residential building; her medical condition remains unknown.

In Italy, a 14-year-old girl escaped a sexual assault attempt by her mother's 47-year-old partner while traveling near Rome. The girl used an international SOS hand signal from a car window, alerting passing police officers who immediately intervened and detained the suspect.
