Zimbabwe Police Arrest Four in Harare Drug Bust, Seek Kingpins
Zimbabwe Republic Police arrested four suspected drug dealers—Christina Mazango, Chelusi Saidi, Priscilla Matros and Joseph Mangwende—at a truck stop on Simon Mazorodze Road in Harare after seizing 40 kilograms of cannabis (mbanje). Detectives from the CID Drugs and Narcotics unit acted on intelligence and recovered the drugs during the raid.
The arrests are part of a nationwide crackdown on drug trafficking that has also seen operations along the Bulawayo‑Harare road and other locations. In a related move, police have launched a manhunt for three alleged drug kingpins believed to run syndicates from Harare suburbs, who are linked to explosives recovered during investigations into armed robberies.
