Zinedine Zidane announces coaching staff for France national team
The French Football Federation (FFF) has officially announced the complete coaching and medical staff for the France senior men’s national team, led by head coach Zinedine Zidane.
Zidane has reunited with former 1998 World Cup-winning teammate Fabien Barthez, who has been appointed as the team’s goalkeeper coach. The technical staff also includes assistant coaches David Bettoni and Hamidou Msaidie, both of whom previously worked with Zidane at Real Madrid. Other key appointments include Grégory Dupont as strategy and performance adviser, Stéphane Plancque as a scout, and Farid Tabet and Clément Ybert as video analysts.
The medical department will be headed by Dr. Hervé Collado, supported by a team of physiotherapists, an osteopath, and a podiatrist. Zidane succeeds Didier Deschamps, who led the team for 14 years. The new staff is set to make its debut on September 25 during a Nations League match against Turkey.
