Zlín Film Festival adds Kristýna Badinková Nováková and Martin Písařík to Walk of Fame
On 2 June 2026, the Zlín Film Festival will unveil two new stars on the Walk of Fame in front of the Velký kino in Zlín. Actors Kristýna Badinková Nováková and Martin Písařík will become the 45th and 46th honorees, joining 44 predecessors who began their film careers as children.
Badinková Nováková first appeared on screen at age 14 in Výchova dívek v Čechách and gained fame with the classic Pelíšky. She said she once disliked the sudden attention, but now appreciates the honour. Písařík launched his career with the film Městem chodí Mikuláš and is now a prolific actor and dubber. Both praised the festival’s atmosphere and look forward to meeting fellow artists.
The ceremony is part of the festival’s auxiliary program, a collaboration with the charitable foundation Kapka naděje that has supported Czech hospitals for two decades. The 66th Zlín Film Festival runs from 28 May to 3 June, featuring film screenings, workshops and the star‑unveiling ceremony.
