Zánka hosts autumn Erzsébet camps for thousands of children

Autumn Erzsébet camps have commenced in Zánka, organized by the Erzsébet Foundation for Children in the Carpathian Basin. The program expects up to 17,000 participants through September 25, with sessions running in shifts from Monday to Friday. Supported by state funding, the camps offer structured educational programs including nature science, digital skills, financial literacy, and arts. A new feature for this season is a Police Vehicle Park established at the Zánka camp.

In Túrterebes, the Reformed Church Parish organized a vacation Bible week from August 31 to September 4. Approximately 60 children from Túrterebes, Szőllőhegy, and Nagytarnai participated in daily sessions focused on the theme of prayer. The program included religious instruction alongside activities such as hunting lessons and recreational play.
