Zoan Sastre signs with APOEL after five years at PAOK

Spanish right‑back Zoan Sastre, 28, is set to join Cypriot club APOEL following a five‑year spell with Greek side PAOK. The transfer has been agreed between the two clubs, with an official announcement expected shortly.

Sastre arrived at PAOK in January 2022 on loan from Mallorca, after which PAOK exercised its purchase option, paying €400,000 in the summer of 2022. During his time in Thessaloniki he made 119 league appearances, scored seven goals and provided ten assists, contributing to PAOK’s Greek Super League title in the 2023‑24 season and to the team’s European campaigns. APOEL’s sporting director Nikos Papadopoulos highlighted Sastre’s championship experience as a key asset for the club’s right‑back position.
