Zontes and Rieju launch new 125cc motorcycle models

The 125cc motorcycle market is seeing new entries with specialized designs. Zontes has introduced the Zontes 125V, a scooter priced at 2,688 euros. It features a 15 CV liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, a dry weight of 108 kg, and a fuel consumption rate of 2.6 liters per 100 km. The model includes technical specifications such as a traction control system, ABS, a TFT high-definition display with connectivity, and a keyless ignition system.

Simultaneously, Rieju is expanding its lineup with the Coaster 125, a custom-style motorcycle scheduled for release in Europe this September. Unlike many competitors in the 125 cc segment, the Coaster 125 utilizes a liquid-cooled V-Twin engine producing 13.6 CV. It features a six-speed gearbox and a belt final drive. In Spain, the motorcycle can be operated with a standard car license (Category B) provided the driver has held it for at least three years.
