Zoo Bucharest introduces new animal arrivals

The Bucharest Zoo has announced several new young animal residents for visitors to see. The new arrivals include four capybara pups, approximately four months old, which represent the second generation born at the zoo.

Other new additions include a Patagonian mara pup, aged about one and a half months, a Bennett's kangaroo pup of roughly three and a half months, and a ring-tailed lemur pup, also about one and a half months old. The lemur is part of the zoo's second generation of the species born on-site.

The zoo is open Tuesday through Sunday, with seasonal hours: 09:00 to 19:00 until October 31, and 10:00 to 17:00 from November 1 to March 31. Admission fees are 20 lei for adults and 10 lei for children, students, and pensioners, while children under three and persons with disabilities enter for free.
