Zoran Kalezić recalls atmosphere following Arkan's murder

Singer Zoran Kalezić has shared recollections regarding the atmosphere at the home of Željko Ražnatović Arkan following Arkan's murder on January 15, 2000. Kalezić described the scene at the residence, noting the grief of Arkan's mother, Slavka.

Kalezić highlighted the dignified reaction of Arkan's first wife, Natalija, during the period of mourning. He noted that despite public divisions often seen in Balkan narratives, Natalija expressed grace by stating, ‘don't tell me anything about it, it is all simple for me, he loved this woman,’ referring to Arkan's subsequent wife, Ceca.

The singer also touched upon his personal connection to the late folk music legend Toma Zdravković, who was his godfather, and his own reflections on life and music.
