Zásilkovna launches redesigned mobile application

Zásilkovna, a service used by over two million people monthly in the Czech Republic, has released a significantly redesigned mobile application. The update focuses on streamlining routine tasks, improving delivery management, and allowing users to redirect parcels in transit.

Key features include the ability to reroute shipments to a different Z-BOX or pickup point with a few clicks. The app provides faster tracking, with location updates reported to be twice as quick as before. Users can manage common tasks directly from the parcel interface, such as opening a Z-BOX, extending storage time, or paying cash-on-delivery via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or QR codes.

To simplify sending items, the new Zásilkovna ID allows frequent senders to generate a QR code containing their delivery details, which can be scanned to auto-fill forms, reducing manual entry time by up to 90 percent. The update also includes faster registration via Apple or Google accounts and improved return processes for online shopping.
