Zulia state distributes high-tech equipment to seven hospitals

Seven hospital centers in Zulia state, Venezuela, have received high-technology medical equipment as part of a broader rehabilitation initiative. Governor Luis Caldera announced the distribution of specialized tools, including C-arm machines for traumatology, electrocardiographs, surgical tables, anesthesia machines, and hospital beds.

The initiative aims to prepare several facilities for reinauguration, including the Hospital Dr. Urquinaona (Central Hospital of Maracaibo), which will add nine intensive care unit beds and a new surgical area. Other benefited facilities include the Hospital Hugo Parra León, Hospital Darío Suárez, Hospital Luis Razetti, CDI Tamare, and the Oncológico Génesis Petit.

According to Governor Caldera, this distribution is part of a larger effort that has seen the rehabilitation and equipping of 66 health centers over a 13-month period.
