2026 CONMEBOL Libertadores updates
Overview
CONMEBOL is introducing several new elements for the 2026 edition of the Copa Libertadores. The organization will implement a redesigned, personalized champions badge for clubs that have previously won the tournament. Starting from the round of 16, these shield-shaped patches will replace the generic gold badge and will feature a club’s official colors, the trophy icon, total titles, and specific winning years.
In conjunction with these changes, Panini has launched an official sticker collection for the 2026 tournament. The collection includes an album featuring the 32 participating teams and 439 stickers, including holographic and transparent versions. The release also features 80 player stickers with statistical data and various card types such as ‘Legends’ and ‘Super Star’.
Raul Vallecillo, CEO of Panini Brasil, noted that the collection is intended to represent the ‘identity, grit, and rivalries inherent in South American football’.
